America’s sweetheart Taylor Swift lends her singing chops to backup John Mayer in his new single “Half of My Heart” from the upcoming album Battle Studies. This isn’t the first time the two have hooked up. Mayer shocked the crowd at Swift’s Los Angeles concert back in May to sing “Your Body Is A Wonderland” with the 19-year-old country singer.

Kristen Stewart sure has an interesting way of addressing all the speculation about her relationship with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.

In an interview with EW.com, Stewart offered her thoughts on how to deal with the constant prying by the media and public alike:

“I’ve thought about this a lot. There’s no answer that’s not going to tip you one way or the other. Think about every hypothetical situation: ‘Okay, we are. We aren’t. I’m a lesbian.’  I’m just trying to keep something. If people started asking me if I was dating [fellow co-star] Taylor [Lautner], I’d be like ‘F*ck off!’ I would answer the exact same way.”

Oddly enough, K-Stew says that, if people hadn’t been so pushy about getting into her private business, she likely would be more open about it:

“I probably would’ve answered it if people hadn’t made such a big deal about it,” she said. “But I’m not going to give the fiending an answer. I know that people are really funny about ‘Well, you chose to be an actor, why don’t you just f*cking give your whole life away?! Can I have your firstborn child?’”

The Parents Television Council has sent letters to CW affiliates–about 120 in all–asking them to preempt the Nov. 9 episode of Gossip Girl.
The group cites reports in Entertainment Weekly and elsewhere that the Nov. 9 issue will include a sexual tryst among three main characters.
A PTC spokesperson said calling for the preemption was an unusual move for the organization, saying the last time it did so was in May 2008 for the season finale of Dexter.  The group is asking all its members (it claims 1.3 million) to write stations as well. “I appeal to your highest sense of decency, respect and common sense in urging you to preempt this episode,” writes PTC President Tim Winter in the letter, a copy of which was obtained by B&C. Winter put the sting, or at least the threat of one, in the tail of the letter. “Please be advised that the PTC will monitor this episode very closely,” he says.
“Our members will not hesitate to contact local and national advertisers; and if this program violates broadcast decency law, rest assured that our members will contact the Federal Communications Commission.”

In a letter to affiliates obtained by TheWrap, PTC chief Tim Winter blasts the scheduled storyline as “reckless and irresponsible” and claims the show is “expressly targeted to impressionable teenagers.” The head of the right-wing political action group says CW affiliates that air the episode will be “complicit in establishing a precedent and expectation that teenagers should engage in behaviors heretofore associated primarily with adult films.” Winter then makes it clear that local affiliates have the right to preempt programming that doesn’t meet the interests of their community. And, most disturbingly, he warns the stations that they will “bear the financial burden of an FCC fine” should the government declare that next week’s episode violates decency laws. Of course, Winter hasn’t seen the episode in question. He’s only read press reports about the hour…including an initial online posting by Entertainment Weekly that stated the episode would feature “three major characters having sex. At the same time. In the same bed. Together.”
CW insiders confirm the Nov. 9 show will end with three characters in a tryst. Flashbacks from their menage-a-OMG will air in future episodes.A CW spokesperson had no comment. CW does not generally comment on PTC complaints, but it did use a quote from the group criticizing the show in its marketing campaign for Gossip Girl two seasons ago. According to Nielsen, the median age of show’s viewers is 27 (The CW overall is 33). The show is rated TV 14 (parents strongly cautioned).

Ashley Greene, The 22-year-old Twilight star, recently chatted with MTV about the feel of her upcoming flick, The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

Ashley shared, “[New Moon] is a little more guy-friendly. It’s a lot more action-packed, and the wolves are funny, because they’re a threat and a danger to our family but they’re also protecting this person that we all love — so we kind of have to get along with them.”

A source tells Us Magazine that, after spending the night together on Thursday night, the rumored lovebirds replenished themselves at Noah’s Bagels—and then headed off for the New Moon screening at Deluxe Laboratories, where the two quickly resumed their canoodling. Says the source, who says they were taken to the screening at about 8:30 a.m.

“Rob wanted a cigarette so he went outside with Kristen for about 15 minutes. They were hugging, as Rob was smoking his cigarette and then he leaned down and kissed her on the lips. He had his arm around her almost the whole time.”

While Ashlee Simpson may have brought publicity to the table, the cast of Melrose Place was tired of her diva antics and shit-ass acting skills, according to Fox411:

“Ashlee was kicked off ‘Melrose Place’ because she was a total diva on set, late all the time, and deeply disliked by fellow cast members,” the insider spills. “It created a lot of discord among the cast.”
Another big problem, says the snitch?
“She could barely act.”

The source says producers desperately wanted Heather Locklear to reprise her role, but couldn’t afford her salary demands without cutting someone.
“They basically trimmed the fat and made it possible for Heather to join the show,” says the snitch. “Heather is a much bigger name than Ashlee.”

Whoaaaa, thats a shock. Seriously never thought of Ashlee in that way, never.

Kelly Clarkson threw on a hilarious Stewie Griffin costume at her Halloween Concert at the Family Arena on Saturday night in St. Charles, Missouri. Kelly and the members of her band performed a few of her songs while in costume and looked like they were having a blast.
