Nikki Reed recently sat down with MTV and revealed that she will always be on Team Rosalie.
The 22-year-old actress shared,

“I am always going to come to Rosalie’s defense and say that she wasn’t just trying to hurt him [by telling Edward that Bella had died]. I mean, he is her brother and she does love him. She felt bad for how she has treated their entire relationship, and maybe it was her way of taking the initiative and wanting to be the one to break the news to him.”

Nikki continued,

“She wasn’t lying to him; this is what Alice thought and what she told Rosalie. So Rosalie felt the need to break the news to Edward.”
